Here are the kids all dressed up before church! I made the girls outfits believe it or not a couple of years ago when my mom was down visiting us when we lived in Missouri City! I hate using patterns but I had flown my mom down to stay with me while the hubby was in Kansas for school(for the RR)and decided I would put her to work..hehe. Well I needed helping using a pattern to make the girls a dress. Needless to say I never finished the dresses and they had been hanging in my closet since. I thought shoot what a waste to have never finished em..so I decided to try them on the girls and see if maybe they just might still fit..THEY DID! I couldn't believe it. I decided I would finish them and they could wear them on Easter Sunday..all I really had to do was hem the dresses, make new bloomers for Trin(cuz hers were to small..and as you can see I didn't make them long enough the second time around but they worked)and sew the trim around their socks to match the trim on their dresses and bloomers, and put the ribbon around the waist of the dress. They turned out pretty cute and I was amazed that I had done it. Thanks mom for helping me fight with a pattern and for helping me put my first zipper in..my mom is a GREAT seamstress, I admire her. (the only reason there is just a picture of Paige alone to show off the dress was cuz every pic I kept taking of Trin kept turning out too dark for some reason, just had to clarify that)
