My daddy!

We are so happy right now. My dad is awake, talking, alert, and happy to be alive. He says that he can see better, and that it feels like the fog has been lifted. The surgery was a success..so far so good. He may even get to go home tomorrow. Amazing..Brain surgery one day and the next the possibility of going home..how awesome is that.

Dads narrowed Artery before and after stents!

This is a pic of my dads artery before the stents were in..you can see the really narrow spot and not a lot of blood flow around it..

This is a pic after the stents were placed..all around you can see an amazing difference in the blood flow and not just to that artery but the surrounding veins.

Daddy We love you!

Scary Day!

I know I haven't been on for awhile, I am quite a bit behind actually..but I have been sick and recently found out why I have been sick for 3 weeks, I have a sinus infection. Good think the antibiotics are working.

On another note..My dad was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Spokane Washington 2 1/2 hours away from his home because he had another small/minor stroke. This was on Wednesday the 25th..they found out that he has MRSA a staph infection as well. He found out on Tuesday that they were going to do brain surgery to put a stent in one of his arterys off of his brain stem because it is really narrow..the other artery is completely blocked so nothing they can do there, but they weren't going to do that till next month sometime. Well since this new stroke happened they decided to do the surgery asap. As I speak they are performing his brain surgery. He is pretty scared as well as the rest of the family. 1 out of 10 ppl have a stroke or die on the operating table..but if he didn't have this done his chances triple of the same thing happening. We are all praying for him and I ask that if you are reading this to plz say a prayer for him. I am not ready to lose my daddy, as I am sure no one is. I will update this as soon as he is out of surgery.

Canon Rebel XTI New Lense

Well speak of the devil! The new lense showed up this evening right after I posted the last post..hmm the devil works in mysterious ways. We shall see if you can live up to our expectations..lol

Canon Rebel XTI

Ok Canon Rebel XTI you sound bad as heck,(in a good way)we have had you for awhile now..and your soon to be new zoom lense should be here soon..I am expecting big things from you..just so you know. Prove me wrong I dare ya..I know I know the hubster says you will..but we shall see! Good Luck!

Plus, not to mention camera issues~

Well a few weeks back the kids were thinking that it was ok to play with our little camera and well..it took a bath in the toilet! Can I say I was not happy. We have a nicer camera but don't have a zoom lense for it! Well we just ordered it and it should be on its way..so once it gets here..I will be all over taken pics..I was so use to you my little baby camera..it was so cool and worked so awesome...now it has gone to heaven so here is a shout out to you Canon Power shot A95..you took great pics in your long life of a few years..and we will forever remember you..Now it is up to you Canon Rebel XTI with your new lens to take over the reins! I wish you well!( I am secretly hoping my little canon comes back to life..it was just more convenient!..the canon rebel by far is a better camera but whatever..I was partial to my first baby! We will miss you..or at least I wilL!)

Update!

I haven't updated anything for awhile but our little family started getting sick last Thursday well actually January 29th. Paige and I are still sick and hoping to get better soon..it has been 10 days for me and I am freakin done. Poor little Paigy just coughs for hours on end..I feel so bad for her..I Know I would be crying if it were me..but she is a champ. I have some news about my dad...they found out that his stroke was caused by a build up of plaque in I guess a part of his brain stem..I am confused but do know that they say that the build up started from High cholesterol starting in his 20's. They are talking to surgeons now to see if they will do a very dangerous surgery to remove the plaque..they aren't sure if they will cuz of how dangerous it is..which might not be good either..he can easily have another stroke at anytime. So plz keep him in your prayers. If I have learned anything from this it is this!!!...have your cholesterol checked...I have high cholesterol and have since I was at least 19..it is still high and I am now on medication for it..i also have had high blood pressure since at least then and take meds for that as well. All I am saying is..those combinations are reaking disaster...take it seriously..i haven't..I have as far as my salt intake for the blood pressure..and the high cholesterol I have changed my diet for quite a few years and it is still high so if you need to get on meds. We will know this week if my dad has to have a dangerous brain surgery..and as soon as I am feeling better I will put more pics up. =)I am posting at least one pic of my latest sick kidlet..she is a sweetie.
