Spring Break March 2008

We finally had a vacation! We decided to take the kids to Sea World, the Alamo, and to see the Riverwalk all in San Antonio, Tx. We had a blast. We first went to downtown San Antonio to go to the Hard Rock Cafe...that was really cool. Pierre and I had been to the Hard Rock Cafe in Vancouver, Canada..but the kids had never been. We then headed over to see the Alamo. It was kinda boring but a peice of History so we were glad to have seen it. Then we walked along the Riverwalk. That was really pretty.
Day 2:
Today we went to Sea World. We sat in line just to get off the freeway for an hour and a half..what a nightmare. It was definatly packed when we got in the park. Way to many ppl. We headed straight to the potty room. The little girls had to go. Low and behold we ran into our friends from the Houston area the Rossi family. There daughter is Trins little buddy and we were in the same ward at church together. We also ran into the Kenningtons from the same area whom we also went to church together with. It was sure nice to see you guys. We miss ya all. Small world. We couldn't believe it. We then headed over to see the beluga whale and the dolphins. That was an awesome show. The kids got to ride on a rollercoaster which happened to be Paigys first rollercoaster, they loved it. It was so packed that we didn't get to go on too many rides. We really wanted to see the killer whales perform so off we went. That show was Awesome! The shows alone were well worth our money. Although we were in the first 5 rows and big mistake. At the end of the show they have the whales splash the audience with there tales. Needless to say we were not just soaked but drenched. By that time we were freezing and decided to call it a day. We definatly had a great time and it was over all too soon. Back to reality, work and school. The kids were really good, and we are so very proud of them and the way they minded us so well. Watch the slide show above for some cute pics of our vacation. Love ya'll

I'm so glad you got to see Shamu! Isn't it the best! I was so mad because we got there too late so we couldn't get a seat. We were so disappionted! Oh, well we'll go again someday! I can't believe you ran into the Kennington's too! Crazy

It was so fun to see you there! I'm glad we weren't the only ones crazy enough to sit up close and get drenched :) Even though it was super crowded we had a great time and are glad you did too! Jenni K.
